(For developers only)
This manual provides instructions for installing BICS Local in test mode on a Windows system and electronically reporting a voyage in a test environment.
Please note: It is not possible to install and use both the regular (production) version of BICS Local and the test version on the same device. Therefore, we recommend using a separate device for the test version of BICS Local. In addition, a separate installation of BICS Local must be carried out for each test account requested.

5. Using BICS Local
After successfully completing all the previous steps, you can now use BICS Local to report test voyages. The reported voyages will be sent to the acceptance environment (test environment), but their display will be similar to that of voyages reported in the production environment. The information menu in BICS provides access to various log files, such as the Communication Log, System Log and Update Log.
Please note: In test mode, BICS Local uses different reference data from that used in the production environment. As a result, you may encounter different locations in test mode than in normal mode, for example.
